The main aim of this course is to improve the presentation and lecturing skills of lecturers in English.

DESTINATARIS

TARGET

Lecturers who need to teach and give lectures, presentations and papers in English. Participants should have an intermediate level of English (B2 and above).

OBJECTIUS

To teach the language of presentations and lecturing in English

To improve fluency and confidence in presenting in English

To improve academic vocabulary

To give individual feedback on presentation skills and language

METODOLOGIA

METODOLOGY

The course will involve listening to live and recorded presentations, noting ideas, information, structure and language

Participants will work on pronunciation and intonation in English

Participants will prepare and give their own presentation

Participants will give and recieve feedback on presentations, inclusing extensive individual feedback

CERTIFICACI

La certificació a les persones participants estarà supeditada a la prèvia inscripció i acceptació pel mitjà establert (electrònicament a través del web) i a l'assistència a un mínim del 80% de les hores totals de l'activitat. El personal docent i investigador de la UPC que participi a l’activitat, uns dies després de la finalització, disposarà de manera automàtica de la informació a DRAC.
